Pakistan bowed on Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case, allowed an appeal against the punishment

In the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, Pakistan has finally had to bow down. Pakistan has introduced the International Court of Justice (Review and Review) Ordinance 2020.

According to this bill, foreign prisoners convicted in Pakistani jails (who have been sentenced by military courts) will be able to appeal in higher courts. Law Minister Farogh Naseem introduced this bill in Parliament. Now this bill will go to the Senate. If approved from there, it will become a law after the President's signature.

After this, now Kulbhushan Jadhav has been allowed to appeal in any High Court against the sentence given by Pakistan. The National Assembly of Pakistan passed a bill to give the right of appeal to Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav, who is in jail in Pakistan, in connection with the decision of the International Court of Justice. Let us tell you that the International Court of Justice in its decision directed the Assembly to conduct an effective review and review.

Kulbhushan Jadhav is lodged in Pakistan jail since 2016. Pakistan’s intelligence agency kidnapped Kulbhushan Jadhav from Iran. The Government of India has been saying since the beginning that Kuldeep Jadhav was a former Navy officer. He had gone to Iran for a business deal. From here he was abducted and then he was handed over to the Pakistan Army.

Islamabad has always been accusing Jadhav of being an Indian spy and has also carried out many terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Jadhav was sentenced to death by a military court in Pakistan. After this, the Government of India had approached the International Court of Justice.
