Chitrakoot District Jail Gangwar and Encounter Case Reached Supreme Court

The case of Chitrakoot District Jail, which has exposed the security arrangements of all the prisons of the state with the country, has now reached the Supreme Court. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding a CBI or NIA investigation into the gang war and encounter cases in Chitrakoot District Jail.

Lawyer Anoop Prakash Awasthi has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. The case of Mukesh Kala and Meraj Ali, who were killed in a gang war in Chitrakoot District Jail, as well as the case of Anshu Dixit in a police encounter, looks very suspicious. Awasthi has demanded the Supreme Court to investigate the Chitrakoot District Jail murder case and the encounter case with the CBI or NIA under the supervision of the Supreme Court. He filed this application online on Sunday.

It is worth mentioning that on Friday morning in the Chitrakoot District Jail, the nephew and gang member Meraj Ali of the relationship of Mukai Kala, the main accused of Kairana escape and the mafia MLA from Purvanchal, was killed by the sharp shooter Anshu Dixit. The killer Anshu was also killed in a police encounter. During the two-hour gang-war and encounter in the jail, 50 rounds of bullets were fired in the jail. Along with the detainees, the prison security personnel also lurked in the barracks. When the police force reached , they took positions and retaliated by firing.
