Mission statement

Sahyog Care For You and Yogya - Empowering Society Care is committed to support community causes for low-income families and individuals. By supporting these causes through children and youth we also support the mission of our organization by inculcating in the children a HABIT TO GIVE BACK TO SOCIETY.

Students often face challenges and problems that are difficult to manage. By working in the community, they learn how to face these challenges in a better way. As students work within their community, they learn that they can be agents of change and make great things happen. This helps to build a sense of responsibility and pride in children when they see what they have done really helps others.

About the Awards

Sahyog Care For You and Yogya- Empowering society Children Community Awards is a recognition program based exclusively on children’s voluntary community service. The awards seek to honor middle and high school and college students for outstanding service to the community. This award is given in recognition of outstanding commitment to the community that demonstrates an exemplary devotion to create greater equity and opportunity.

How to apply

Application can be submitted individually or as a Group Activity with maximum of six children including you.

Judging Criteria

Applications will be judged for the work done from January 2020 till date on:

1.   Motivation: (How much personal initiative was involved in the activity?)

2.    Impact: (How does the activity impact the community or other people)

3.    Commitment: (What personal sacrifices did the applicant make)

4.   Challenges: (Did the child have to overcome any problem or obstacles and from where he/she got the support to do that activity?)

5.    Innovation: Any new ideas or concept?

Awards/Recognition/Scholarship Program

The various category winners will be awarded a merit certificate and a trophy to recognize excellence in their work. Gift vouchers will also be provided.

We will be offering scholarship to the winner who stands first in each of the category. The scholarship will be to pursue the selected community work.

Eligibility

Children eligible to apply from class 6th to Graduation the competition is divided in five Categories

1) Class VI-VIII

2) Class IX-X

3) Class XI-XII

4) College student

5) Group Activity
