Legal Knowledge::DISTRICT CONSUMER FORUM HAS NO JURISDICTION TO ENTERTAIN COMPLAINT FILED BY EMPLOYEE REGARDING BENEFITS ACCRUED IN SERVICE

In this Case where the respondent approached the District Consumer Forum on ground that there was clear deficiency of service on the part of bank in not crediting the commuted value of pension to his account and at the same time making deduction of the amount of pension so commuted, it had been held, since the respondent employee did not avail any service as defined under section 2 (1)(o) , the District Forum had no jurisdiction to entertain complaint filed by employee.
